In-line Self-Cleaning
A filter that is capable of cleaning most of the junk that comes through the system.
Maintenance varies greatly. Some filters have not been touched in decades; others need to be cleaned hourly.
The filter elements should be replaced if damaged.
Apply o-lube to the o-ring when reassembling the filter. Open blow out valves as needed, some are hooked up to the timer and will be done automatically.
